Doing some blog reading I came across this post at a great blog over at Rosstraining.com. I encourage any of you that have never read any of his stuff, to spend some time going through his posts. Amazing stuff on this blog. His site is one of the most information packed site I have ever run accross.
These two videos are linked in that post. I didn’t find them myself, but am posting them here. I watch a lot of youtube videos for inspiration and this is one of the most inspiring I have ever seen. We have no valid excuses, no matter what.
Beautiful, summer like temperatures in my neck of the woods today. Last year at this time we had 10 feet of snow ! Today it was 20 degrees celcius. Unbelievable. I had a great exercise day, with over 14000 steps on my pedometer as well as doing the Power 90 workout this morning.
Eats were good, I hit all my Weight Watcher points for the first time in a week. Great day today.
Hey guys, just found a great video of a bodyweight workout. Keep in mind like everything else when there is something “free” online they are also hoping for you to buy something. I am not affiliated with this guy at all, just a video I found on youtube this morning and I thought I would share it. If you click on his link they are trying to get you to buy something, but this video shows you a free workout. Looks tough!
PS. after looking at the other video’s on his page, there is a TONNE of free info there. I have heard of this guy and Turbulence Training for years, but first time I have looked at his youtube page. A tonne of free ideas, workouts etc on his youtube feed!
Watching the final game in Yankee Stadium. I had truly hoped that I would get to Yankee stadium this year to see a game before it closed, but I didn’t get there. I have seen a lot of baseball games at Yankee Stadium on tv over the last 30 years however.
The reason I am a Yankee fan at all was because the Yankees were my grandfathers team. He idolized the Yankees and I idolized him, so, it was very obvious who I was going to cheer for. My earliest memory is being 5 years old back in 77 when Reggie hit the three straight hr. I don’t remember the game, but I was sitting on his lap and knocked right on the floor when he hit the third one. I remember very clearly my grandmother and mother worried he was going to have a heart attack.
I think of all the games I have seen on tv, and its hard to pick out my favorite memory, But the following is pretty close
I may have not of made it to the old Yankee stadium, but I will see the next one.
