Well, I guess what he does works, because here I am posting yet another post about his asinine antics.

WSOP and tools
Posted by swljuggernaut on June 14, 2007
Well woke up this morning and checked the results from last nights WSOP tournies. Looks like Raymer, DN nor Brenes were able to get through their final tables and bring down a bracelet. I was hoping for Lingren or Negreneau, but Lindgren was out 6th or 7th (don’t remember) and Negreneau was out in third. I am really enjoying watching the series results as I said yesterday.
After my post last night I actually played a few more hands (less than 75) of 04/08 of stud, and a little bit of 25/50 cent holdem, and ended up down from those hands about a buck no real change of significance. I managed to get quad’s in the stud, which was kinda funny as I had trips and wasn’t sure if this was a big hand in stud (haven’t played much at all) and had a guy capping my bets, all good when the case card hit.
Today I am going to listen to some more Pocket five podcasts and try and pick up some good strategy, and maybe a few tools that I can use to improve my game. I think that I haven’t take advantage of the tools available out there to play online, and I may have suffered some from that. Stuff like pokerstove or not using Poker Office to its full capabilities may be leaving some money on the table for me. I am going to look further into Poker office and really learn the software so that I can use it to its full advantage.

Sweating the WSOP, live cash game tonight, more stuff
Posted by swljuggernaut on August 4, 2006
Well I have been following the WSOP main event thru blogs, Cardplayer.com, pokerwire.com and more. My buddy and I have a friendly pool going and I have 7 of 15 left and he has 3 left going into today. I have found reading the blogs of participants fascinating, and love reading the stories. Bugging my buddy saying we have to go once before we are 40, which is 6-7 more years. He just rolls his eyes and humors me.
Played a heads up session that was a roller coaster last night. I will blog about the session later and back date it as I have been doing. I write session notes after every session I play and blog from those. First game I was hitting flops, I was catching cards, it was all going my way. Then it started going back the other way. River fest for both of us. I will blog the session in more detail later, I actually have 4 sessions to blog from heads up sessions!
Tonight I have a ten handed live cash game to play. Most of the guys I have played with before and most have played in my monthly tournies. Looking forward to something a little different. SNGs or tournies everytime out of the box gets old to me, and I enjoy an occasional side game.
That’s all for now, going to work on some heads up posts.
