Well, another long drought of sports posts for me but there certainly is lots to right about sports wise!
First off, Tiger winning another Major. I was away on Sunday so missed all but the last three wholes but watched every minute of the coverage on Saturday of the PGA. I was drawn into the sport by Tiger, having not been a fan growing up. I knew of the main guys, and watched the majors with my friends when they were on but I was drawn into the sport thru tiger and also once I took up the game myself 7 years ago. I also enjoy watching guys like Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and Mike Weir but Tiger is my favorite. He’s now 5 majors away from the King, Jack.
In baseball the Yankees are charging hard. They have the best record in MLB since the Allstar game, and have cut a once 14.5 game deficit to just 4 games. The Sox must be starting to sweat now.
We are a little less than a month away from the start of the NFL season. I can’t wait for the season to start, and I am definitely getting the NFL package after not having it last year. I used to have all the sports packages with my Digital Cable package, which in the case of sports was much cheaper than satellite. Can’t wait
