I am off work today, but I am definately not sitting around twiddling my thumbs! I have been to the gym, and have spent the rest of the day trying to coordinate electricians, carpenters, entertain my dad, who did a pop in from 3 hours away, and also had my FIL here who was helping out doing some stuff on the basement. So, I have had a very busy off day so far.
Had a great workout at the gym this morning, regrettibly the first day in a week i managed to get there. With the back problems I need to stay active. The more I stay stationary, be it laying, sitting or standing in one spot the more problems it causes. Last week with the flu I spent much of my not at work time in bed and that set me back a spell. However, I got for a nice long walk on Sunday, and had a great workout this AM. I felt like hell on Monday and stayed home from work, and altho I didn’t feel very good yesterday I managed to ignore the voices telling me to call in sick again, and went to work. I am determined to beat this back stuff, get completely 100 percent off the back pain pills (have only taken 1 day in last two weeks) and get back to feeling half descent. After the workout today, its one step back in the right direction.
Well, just a quick checkin, must run to get my youngest girl from school, and then get back here for when my father comes back from his errands so he can get in. Got both my dad and the wife’s dad staying at the house tonight, so its going to be a crowded spot at the Leighton Residence!
