Thursday morning
Sitting at work writing this during “the calm before the storm” the few minutes before the phone goes crazy and I don’t have a second to do anything until I walk out of here at 4 oclock. I have written a bunch this past few days in spare moments here at work, but keep forgetting my flash drive at work, I will try and remember to bring it home tonight (Thursday the 19th) so that I can update my blog with the posts of the last few days and post date them.
This Sunday I am going to be taking 4 week measurements and progress pics. I have my monthly poker game Friday night, and I normally have a few drinks and such and throw any worries away for a few hours and not worry about calories in. This week I will not be drinking though and I will be staying on plan. I have been taking full free days this challenge, and while mentally its been pretty good to have one day to relax, I have gone overboard on a couple, and barely eaten on others. Rather than a full free day this week, I will likely limit it to a free meal, and may look to go that route the rest of the challenge. We will see.
I am excited about taking the pics this weekend, and while not expecting miracles, I am looking to hopefully see the positive changes I am feeling. My pants are getting looser, I feel firmer, I am definitely feeling better, and a few people are starting to see differences which is always encouraging. I am down over 3 inches on my waist last time I measured, and weighed 217 this morning, from a starting weight of 226. Things are starting to happen, and I feel like I am on the cusp of great progress!
Anyway back to work, I will write some more when I can!
